Alpine Skiing and Snowboarding Morillon is part of the Grand Massif ski area which links the ski stations of Flaine, Morillon, Samoens and Sixt. With over 265km of ski runs the resort is suitable for all levels of ability from easy greens for the beginners and children to the most challenging black runs for the experienced skier. The area is service by 80 ski lifts providing access to 134 ski runs (15 black, 56 red, 41 blue, 13 green and 9 miscellaneous).
Cross Country Skiing Cross country skiing is also available with 66 km of tracks by the river bank between Morillon and the Fer à cheval and another 28,5 km at the Col de Joux Plane (1800 m facing the Mont Blanc). Member of the "France Ski de Fond" organization, The cross country area proposes 94,5 km of trails for the "traditional" or the "skating" way of skiing which will please you, show you the entire valley and lead you to the fabulous Cirque du Fer à Cheval. The access card is obligatory, you'll find it in many places such as the Tourist Office of Morillon
Dog Sledging An unforgettable experience for children (+5 years old) and adults alike. Guide your dog team through the silent forests and snowfields. A very different way to see the mountain.
Snow Mobiles Spend an evening (1 hour) speeding around the mountain and its forest trails.
Snowshoeing A fabulous, undemanding way to discover the diversity of the winter mountain environment and its secrets.
